Raise the bar of industrial plants with IIoT Technology for better productivity

Many may have heard the term IoT or Internet of Things quite a lot, which it is a concept of Industry 4.0 that wants to stimulate changes in the innovation to revolutionize the future industry including the production process throughout the supply chain to be fully connected to the digital world. As can be seen from factories in many well-known industrial estates that has adopted the concept until it has brought changes and being applied to large industries under the name of IIoT or Industrial Internet of Things.

What is Industrial Internet of Things?
Industrial Internet of Things or IIoT is the integration of modern machines and production technology and people to work together through communication technology that can analyze, store, track and process information that is beneficial to the production process to enhance the ability and increase the competitive capabilities. It can help to reduce costs, reduce working time and can predict the required reparation and maintenance in advance to avoid machine down time. The IIoT system can connect the communication system from the production process to the office and everyone in the organization systematically so that the executives or workers can use the information received to improve the efficiency of the products. This can be seen from factories in some industrial estates where more technology is applied in the production process.

How does IIoT help to upgrade factories in industrial estates?
IIoT uses in-line sensing systems or sensors connected to IoT systems to process and predict the wear and tear of machinery and other parts in advance for analysis and processing before setting the appropriate time of when the parts should be replaced before it causes the machine to malfunction and leading to damages. Another use is such as the detection of heat or vibration that affects production in order to stop the machine in time. The system works in real time and the results are reported to the designed network such as Cloud, SMS, Line and other communication applications that can connect and communicate to the workers in control of the production of machines. By calculating the production time and processing to capacity per hour, other areas of work can be planned.

Growth of key IIoT devices and components and industrial parks
After the development of the IIoT system, many industrial parks began to adapt to the creation of smart factories. A 2015 Market and Market data research study found that the IIoT market was valued at $113 billion and is projected that by 2022 the overall value will be greater than $195 billion or an average annual growth of 7.9%. Most of them are in the form of Smart Factory and Automation systems such as PCB circuit boards, ICs, diodes, intelligent sensor systems, until they have evolved to major supply chains such as solid-state drives or SSD hard drives that are smaller and thinner before evolving into NVMe that can write or save data many times faster. There are also many other gadgets that are used in homes and personal items that can be used through applications and IoT systems.
